Hello, and welcome to Stories From The Wild.

I'm Dawn, a children's author, wildlife enthusiast, conservation campaigner and family historian based in the beautiful county of Dorset.

This website brings together the things I'm most passionate about—storytelling, wildlife, nature, history and protecting the places we love. Whether I'm writing children's adventures, exploring the countryside with my Hungarian Vizsla, Ralphy, researching family history or supporting local conservation projects, I believe every walk can uncover a new story.

My first book, The Adventures of Olivia, was inspired by a love of adventure, imagination and learning. I hope it encourages young readers to explore the world around them with curiosity and kindness.
